Random stuff from my life and mind.

I wanted to point out that John made a good point in the comments of my past post on the economy. He is right we are a republic because the average uninformed voter does not know what is best for the county. We should trust our elected officials because they are suppose to know what is best for us, however I do not feel that they are looking out for us. Since I am not in politics I am powerless to do anything about this other than vote in my local, state and federal elections.  Here’s to some good change next year.

Thank you for completely misstating the purpose of my prior post. Your sarcasm was perfectly set to make the words seem as if you agreed with me, but dripped enough venom to make it seem my post was completely without merit while not providing any information to refute it.

Good job ... you could probably be in politics yourself someday.

Or maybe my point was lost somewhere int he murky recesses of the words. What I said was it was not fair to chastise congress for trying something when 75% of the population has no clue about economic situations and cast their opinions using opinionated sound bites instead of making some attempt to learn something.

It seems blogs such as this are more than willing to contribute to those sound bites rather than provide useful information.

Would you like to try and provide a post with some substance sometime in the near future???

:) thank you.

I know how the system "should" work. However the last several years are showing that it isn't working. It is very frustrating to see a country I love swirl around the bowl while it's being flushed away.

Hell it is not even the last several years this has been building since the Nixon era politics. Before Ford's presidency the two political parities were divided but they would still work together to accomplish tasks to better the country. Their tasks were to make the daily life of american better.

Nixon, never wanted to create the EPA but their was great pressure from the america public for it so guess what happened?
